Spreadsheet Server is a tool designed for you, the end-user, and if you ARE a Microsoft® Excel® user then you ALREADY HAVE enough skill to get at (and extract) your own data from your company’s commercial databases.
Spreadsheet Server’s intuitive interface allows you to extract your data using familiar point-and-click techniques. Spreadsheet Server also has the facility to allow you to ‘un-jargon’ the database and give tables and columns meaningful names.

After less than half a day’s tuition you can be productive in creating your own data extraction processes, encouraging you to exploit and enhance your own knowledge of Excel® and other Microsoft® applications. Over time, if you wish, you can become more expert in using the rich functionality contained within the Spreadsheet Server application and get even more from its use.

With just one click of a desktop icon an authorised user can obtain (for example) a full set of company accounts, or a comprehensive sales analysis – either of which may have needed access to more than one computer – let alone more than one database!

By just exploiting the power of the Microsoft® desktop applications you can also create comprehensive sales graphs and publish them on your own web site, or send SMS text messages to key management reporting on out of line situations. You can also create processes which report on your own company Key Performance Indicators and have them sent at the end of each day as messages to named key management personnel.

SCHEDULED
Linked processes can be run on demand or scheduled to run at any pre-determined time. Using this feature you can be kept up to date with the information you require when you want it allowing you to be more proactive in running your organisation.
